About Me

Dedicated educator, husband, brother, son, friend, colleague, and world traveler. Living abroad has helped me value and develop all of these roles, while family, experiences, and passions have helped me find my niche in today’s world.

At 13 years old, I was introduced to the world of caddying. The best summer job I could ask for, not to mention a free tan! The life skills honed on the golf course over the years helped shape many of the skills I need every day as a school leader. I was extremely grateful and honored to also be awarded the Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship to support my university studies.

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics – University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (Go Illini!)

Secondary Math teaching certificate – Chicago State University

Master of Arts in Teaching – Grand Canyon University

International School Leadership Program (ISLP) through EARCOS

Master of Education in Organization and Leadership – University of San Francisco

School administrator certificate – Washington State University.

In 2016, I married my beautiful wife Bitna in Seoul. She, my parents, and two brothers are the backbone of my life. Living and working now in my 7th country and 5th international school, I am driven by collaboration with educators of all backgrounds, witnessing students and teachers succeed, and working with entire school communities following a growth mindset.
